As a nonpartisan group of health professionals we are uniquely positioned to speak about the health harms of climate change. Caring for our patients also requires caring for our planet. We need swift and bold policy to combat the health harms of climate change and our policymakers need to hear from us.

If you are a health professional and want to advocate, educate, and protect the future health of our state, please join us and add your voice.

Benefits of membership include opportunities to:

  • Feature your climate action work on the CHPCA website and newsletter.

  • Form and govern “working groups” of interest within our organization. These can range from a Climate Justice group to a Clean Air group.

  • Participate in organized forums with CT leadership to ask questions and prompt discussion about climate action.

  • Write or promote bills that align with the organization’s values.

  • Organize participation in hearings to promote or oppose policies.

  • Access educational forums and webinars hosted by CHPCA and our affiliate organizations.

  • Connect with other individuals within shared disciplines who are similarly interested in climate action, both within CHPCA and other affiliates of the Consortium.
